Ingredients:

3 drumsticks (Sajen ki Fali) pealed and cut into 2” long 1 teaspoon oil
1 bay leaf
1 cup bottle gourd, chopped
2 teaspoons parsley stems chopped
Salt as per taste
2 cups water
6 cashew nuts, whole
1 teaspoon black peppercorns, crushed
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped to garnish


Preparation:

Wash the drumsticks and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaf and bottle gourd. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add drumsticks, parsley stems, salt, water and mix well.
Close the cooker lid and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes.
Add cashew nuts to the boiled mixture and keep aside to cool down.
Blend the mixture with a hand blender to make a smooth puree.
Take an empty bowl and strain the puree with the help of a colander.
Heat the soup again and add black pepper and mix well.

Serve hot topped with fresh coriander.
