Ingredients:
                                            250  grams Chana dal 
250  grams jaggery powder
¼  cup coconut grated
3  cardamom, coarsely ground
½  cup maida
Water
                                            Oil  - for deep frying
                                            
                                              
                                            Preparation:                                              
                                            Soak  chana dal overnight and then pressure cook till soft for 4 whistles.
                                            Add  jaggery powder, coconut and cardamom, mix well on low flame.
                                            Make  a runny batter like pakodas with maida and water. 
                                            Make  lemon sized balls from dal mixture.
                                            Heat  oil for frying. Dip one by one chana dal balls into the maida batter and fry  till golden brown. Drain excess oil.
                                            
                                              Serve hot with rice chaklis.
